international Student studying in USA travel to spain

I am an international student from South Africa on a student visa in the USA. I am looking to travel to Spain in spring break. I wanted to know if i can apply for a Schengan Visa online or through the post? How do i go about doing that?

You have to apply in person and you need to make an appointment to see the consular officer. See:
