So guys

I'm in Krakow for the next two nights (until the 6th of Nov) and want some advise on where to go next.

I have a 1.5 months to do: the rest of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Czech Republic. Then I have to head to Hamburg just before Christmas to spend the Holiday season.

In what order do you think I should do my travels???

All suggestions appreciated!

:)

They are all quite close together, and there should be good connections between the major cities in these countries - so it probably doesn't matter which order you do them in!

To me it would make sense to do Poland first, then Hungary/Slovakia (you might have to go back through Krakow), then Czech Republic, then go from Prague to Berlin and up to Hamburg.

It depends on exactly what you want to see though.

Hi,

You'd better take southern Poland, check out Zakopane and the small villages in the mountains, maybe on foot. Slovakia also has several nice towns (Kosice, Levoca, Bratislava, Trencin), great fortresses (Arva, Trenchin, Krasna Horka), than follow your route to Hungary. Check out Eger, Budapest of course, but Northern Balaton, Gyor and Pannonhalma can be great destinations either. Than catch a train or a bus to Czech rep, Brno and Prague, there are trains ongoing to Hamburg (maybe with a change in Berlin).
