I'm thinking about heading to southeast asia around the middle of november for about three months. I've been to thailand before but booked my flights out of London. Question is this, has anyone flown to southeast asia from either Boston, New York or another northeast USA city I don't mind a multi-stop flight, a few days in Amsterdam would be good fun. What airline or travel agent did you use and how are the prices? (i'm currently in Seattle)
Malaysia Airlines leaves the US from two cities, New York and Los Angeles.
From New York (EWR), it stops at Stockholm (ARN) before continuing its journey to Kuala Lumpur (KUL).
As for flights from Los Angeles (LAX), it stops at Taipei (TPE).
The fare for both flights are just about the same, with the lowest at about USD 650-680, one way, including tax.
You can check out for more info and book your flights at http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/
You might want to check Singapore Airlines too... http://www.singaporeairlines.com
