Hello!

If you're staying in Ljubljana, I can give some adresses, that are quite normal priced:

youth hostel in ex-yugoslaw-army-prison, The Cell: www.souhostel.com/en/

There is a small sport BB motel, I know they have simple rooms, and they're pretty cheap. It's not in the center, but Ljubljana is really small, so you have about 15 min bike ride to the center:

Another hotel is in the center, it only has 2 stars but it is partly renovated. My friend said that she had a really good sleep for a small price there:

But after aweek in Ljubljana, you're probably gonna meet somebody, who will invite you to his place:))

enjoy your stayin in Slovenia

Hi!

Theese places are pretty cool. About things to see. Slovenia is really small, it is easy to travel around. In Ljubljana walk up and down the old center, see the old castle above it, explore the city park Tivoli and find some really old stones from ancient roman Emona behind the open theater Krizanke.

There are some other highlights in other parts of Slovenia. Ljubljana is in the center, so trips in any direction don't take much time: Piran: small coastside town, with stone houses gathered together; Bled: lake in the mountains with a small island and a litle church on it, Lake Bohinj: just perfect nature with mountains all around; Postojna: karst cave with endemite "human fish", Ptuj: old town with a lot of character; Cerknica: lake that ocassionaly disappears:)).

And if you need a break after all sightseeing, you can rest in one of the many spas in Slovenia like: Cateske toplice, Ptujske toplice, Moravske toplice, Rogaska....

If you want more detailed information, please, leave a message.

Hi, i can recommend the bit center hostel. It was quite large and though the rooms were spartan they were sufficent. though it is quite a way from the centre there is a bus stop about 200 m away and they run very frequently.
