I get out of school next summer and after that a plan to go to England. I was thinking of the northern section.. Maybe Liverpool.. My packing will be kinda spartanian:
Guitar, a warm shirt, clean underwear and a toothbrush.
I plan to play guitar during the day with a hat infront of my feet and then live at cheap places at night... How much do you have to pay for a bed at night? I don't expect a grand hotel just a bed... And who knows maybe I can get small gigs at weekends. Does anyone have any experience from things like this?
I plan to have 100 pounds in my sock all the times in case I wanna go home...

Hi,
England isn't cheap I'm afraid. Great, but not cheap.
You'll pay £15-20 minimum for bed and breakfast and not much less for a hostel, sometimes more.
I'd recommend northern England - the best scenery is up here, and the people are friendlier. They are honest though. If your guitar playing is bad, they'll tell you! Southerners will just ignore you!
