Need your help.Visit Ho Chi Minh 30/11/2008 until 04/12/2008

Hope U all can help me. I never been to Saigon before. I'm looking for hotel near ben thanh market and ur suggestion where and what to visit Ho Chi Minh City

I stayed in the De Tham St. area and walked over to the market. Less than 10 minutes. Many rooms in the $10-15 range here if price is important. A/C, TV, and hot shower for under $15. Read my blog for additional details.

I suggest you take a city tour. That way you are in an A/C bus and see all the sights in HCMC worth seeing. Or you can hire a pedicab and do it that way. Certainly Notre Dame Cathredal, the old Post Office, Reunification Palace, War Crimes Museum, Chinatown, Giac Lam & Jade Emperor pagodas should be on any list. I would set aside part of one day for the Cu Chi Tunnels, and at least one day for the Mekong delta. I see you have 5 days, that is perfect for hitting almost everything you want to see while in HCMC.
