Extremely last minute, I'm pondering flying over to London to catch a concert by a favorite artist. The problem is, it's in the southwestern suburb of East Twickenham, and I'm afraid I'd miss the last tube/train after the show (I know the artist personally, so would want to linger and chat), so ideally I'd have accommodation reasonably close by. Anyone happen to be a local and know something cheap but decent for a night in that area?

The best idea would be to book "Bed and breakfast in Richmond", search that on google,
It is a busy area for rugby games etc at Twichenham and there are lots of accommodation in the area, at most a short walk or local taxi ride away;
here are a few web sites for the area you can narrow that down to find one near the venue:
on the first three you can scroll down and see the places and the detail address
An alternative nearer Twickenham try
I hope that helps if want more help or information please do get back to me.
Additional message, when you make your plans be sure to prebook a ticket or you could miss out. If you need help with that let me know, I'll try to help if I can.
I don't know Twickenham very well, but there are all night buses in London, look at London Transport wqeb site to find routes and times. That colud give you more flexibility,
Thanks for the replies. Given the presence of night buses, I've settled on going for a hostel closer to the center of town.
