I couldn't help myself, Ryanair are doing their free flights again ( I say free, it was actually 2p plus 8 quid to pay by card for which they give no alternative whatsoever) so I thought, hmm, day trip to Dublin, why not?
Thing is, I actually only get about 5 hours in the city, so.....

Can anyone suggest any absolutely must see's in Dublin or even a nice little place for lunch bearing in mind that I don't want to get totally ratted on Guiness as I have to drive home later. I am going on 3rd Feb so no doubt it will be piddling down with rain, but I have a brolly!

Make sure you give urself time for travel to and from the airport. Can be alot of traffic. The Guinness Factory...def.
Theres a great pub on the North Side called "The Celts" ...good live music - if you wanna avoid all the flare and tourists of Temple Bar.

Blimey, that was quick...thank you!
Have allowed 35 mins for bus into the city (according to bus timetable) and back. Guiness factory sounds a great idea!
