Hey Brian....Ya gotta just chill. It'z only a trip. I will say that Latin America is pretty hectic over the Christmas holidays, so stay focused.

All Americans ARE gringos....if they aren't they say that they are Americans BUT...I came from Israel, or Canada, or Mexico, or......

Good luck Brian, have fun. Try to relax, because I assume that's the point.

finally here after 31hours since leaving for dublin..
our flight to london was delayed by 30mins and in turn we missed our connection flight, they told us that all flights were full for tho next 3 days, so we had to fly from london to New York and from there to San Paulo then to Rio, but we're here and its lashing rain but still warm,, got a joe maxi to the hotel and the taxi driver was pointing out things to us like the mare's house, train station , were they hold the carnival etc etc,, quite hungry now , so getting clea\ned up and heading out ,,

talk soon

oh my god.
how amazing to witness the immediate pre and post departure!
anyone notice that despite the flight difficulties brian is sounding quite chilled after all??

i am going to be in the same position in precisely 30 days and i am beginning to feel anxious and nervous...exciting!! but still, beginning to actually take notice of the people who keep saying how dangerous it is in south america etc..

how are you finding it brian? coming from dublin!?

perhaps i am feeling anxious cos i have nothing booked and nothing prepared! although its the way i want to travel, i am wondering how responsible i actually ought to be!

i hope you guys are having a great time in Brazil! ENJOY!!
