I am in vienna at the moment and i am planning to go to berlin.

can you pls tell me if there are cheapest train ticket or airline ticket fares from vienna to berlin...

I have a very low budget.

If you buy way in advance you can get special offers for 58 EUR return.

Check www.bahn.de and www.oebb.at for these offers. You have a decent chance of getting the special for the date you want if you buy about 2 months in advance and travel Mon-Thu.

If you cannot get the special there are a few tricks to make the journey cheaper, I'll be happy to help you with this. But see whether you cannot get the special offer first.

flying will be more expensive, but so much nicer. it really depends on when you want to go, but there are flights for around 150€, sometimes they are even a lot cheaper.
id probably go by train too, its a pain to travel through the czech rep., but if you always buy a ticket from border to border, it can be pretty cheap. just make sure you dont buy the ticket for another country in austria.

Unless you are going to Germany and can get a special. For travelling to Germany OEBB has Sparschiene offers!

BTW, the EC trains that run Vienna-Prague-Berlin are fast and modern, totally eliminates the pain of regional trains in Czech Republic. (Although these piglet taxis have their own charm.)
