Man, that is really really cheap. I guess you just have to hope they don't go bust in the meantime ;) Seriously though, some more competition on that route is welcome. Some competition on the route to Australia from Asia would be even better!

They do fly to Australia: Gold Coast, Melbourne and Perth. :)

There's also Tiger Airways (Singapore - Perth) and Jetstar (Singapore to Perth and Darwin).

I was actually just on their site and noticed this. But that part of the flight ended up quite expensive making a full return from Oslo cheaper on one of the other airlines (Emirates has some pretty good deals on). A full return also has the advantage that you won't get bumped off a flight if the original flight is late...

There were ads running in the paper today for these cheap flights plus a $300 flight from Mel to KL with Air Asia X.

I just tried to book a return flight from London to Kuala Lumpur, but couldn't find the £99 deal (which includes taxes and fees). The lowest I could find (from March 09 to Oct 09) was £121 one way excluding taxes and fees, so with taxes and fees it was about £368 one way for 2 people, return for 2 people about £736.
Am I missing something?

Their site is really crappy to use actually. They probably only have very few seats at this price (if any left at all) and judging by this page it's not available on all flights. It'd be much better if they had a calendar where you could see the cheapest price per day, but I think they've noticed that if they do that it's too obvious that flights are more expensive and they lose bookings. It's really weird though that on one page they say inclusive of taxes and surcharges and on the next they say exclusive. Makes me wonder if that first one isn't a mistake. Taxes and surcharges on a route like this would quickly end up being 200 pounds, so 99 pounds including them does seem rather unlikely...

I couldn't find the deal browsing all dates from Mar 09 to Oct 09. Let's wait couple of days, may be they will add some deals gradually
