There is definitely a whole week's stuff to do in NYC. It depends on what you want to get out of it. You can also go to Boston for a day or two. Transportation is quite easy.

There is loads to do in New York. I have been there twice - for 4 days the first time and for a week the second time, and still didn't run out of stuff to do.

Yes!

Get an NYC guidebook, a Fun Pass and go, man, go!

You can def. spend a whole week in New York City, I grew up right outside the city and there are tons of things you can do, see, experience. The culture is amazing with all the musuems and theatre and people. Some friends of mine from college were up a couple of months back for their first visit to ny(even though I offered to come stay at my house many times while at school) They planned a whole trip (hotel, theatre, dinner, tours...ect) for 5 days and felt like they had only done just a little bit! I wish I could have had time of work to hang out with them everyday, especially when the went to the Met, i love that museum!!! I know they used a company called New York Guest that they had found on the web, and from what I heard they were great to my friends. I think their website is www.newyorkguest.com, maybe they can help if you decide to make your spring break trip! If you do take the trip, go to St. Andrew's in midtown, it has got to be the nicest bar/restaurant in the city, really friendly staff and great food....i try to go everytime i get into the city!!!
