What kind of ideas do you want? Sights, activities, events, accommodation?

For a start, check out the Australia travel guide! :)

Kings Cross at night is a interesting place, but travel in a group if going as it is technically a red light district i think. It left a strong impression on me. I was talking to an aussie guy however a while back and he said it's been 'cleaned up' (his words not mine) a lot.

The crocodile farm tours are interesting, worth seeing, so weird seeing crocs and palm trees and spiders and the like, palm trees being up in the tropics.

Bondi beach, athough it was empty when i went it might be worth a look, also Bondi itself is a very nice place to relax at.

In Cairns you might want to visit the woolshed(small backpackers nightclucb), it can be really wild, maybe not your thing though, also Gilligans bar up in Cairns is lively and another Irishy bar i can't remember the name was not so bad.

Few more ideas there.
