As im sure many of you know Suvarnabhumi international airport has been closed and blockaded by anti-government protests.
This is aweful timing. Im schedualed to fly into Bangkok on the 29th at 9PM with JAL, from Narita Airport, on a connecting flight from Vancouver.
Does anyone know (or have any educated guesses) if my flight will be able to fly in on time? I have been checking the news and Bangkok post, so far, it looks like some flights are still coming into the country. But I am at a loss of what to do and feel very powerless.
So the question is, if flights are shut down, will my flight still fly out of Vancouver so I can ride this out in Japan til I can get back on a plane? Or will they not allow me to even board at Vancouver and tell me im pretty much hooped? I dont know what to do, if anyone has any advice I am a bit desperate!
Thanks a lot,
Calvin
