Well, those 3 weeks just flew by! Wanted to say hello to you all and we had a fabulous time and I say lucky you to everyone headed off to SA in the near future.
Must also say that travelling with GAP Adventures was really lovely. We were just 11 travellers (aged 20 to 65) with a great guide and a bus driver (who also filled in as security guard and all-round scarer-off of bad things) and we saw and learned more that we'd ever have done on our own. Everyone got along, and we had the option of doing extra activities, so you could be as active or relaxed as you'd like. I must say my first experience travelling with a group was great. I think I got more out of the trip that way. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
So, what's new with all of you? How's TP? Two-cheek kisses all round!
Welcome back to reality Mr. and Mrs. T!!!!!!! Geez, we thought you fell off the face of the continent.....
Well, so much has happened since you left: Barack Obama was elected President, NASA finally figured out a way to make space more dangerous (dropping a $100,000 tool bag), astronauts on the Space Station are finally drinking their own pee, 24 was on last Sunday for it's 2-hour movie pre-season thrill-a-thon, Iceland declared bankruptcy, Stephen Harper declared war on 3 blocks of downtown Quebec, and General Motors gave us 2 of their planes. Oh, and expect the new tenants for your flat to be moving in next month.......sorry, we thought you were staying in Africa, so we sold your condo. But you can take your new TV with you......
So, what's up with you guys?
Twina!!!!! Welcome back!!!
Glad that GAP Adventures worked out well for you. Questions about them abound so I'm sure your coments will be useful for those considering using their services.
