Looking for long term accommodation in France

Hi all

My friend and I will be going to Grenoble, France in January. She is 25 years old and will be staying there to study (at Grenoble III) and work part time for a minimum of 6 months (I am only going to help her move during the first week).

Does anyone know of any weblinks where we might be able to find some useful information regarding finding work (she does speak French and Italian), and an apartment amongst the locals?
