In the wake of recent terror attacks on Mumbai, India, will you be still traveling to India ? Why ?

I would like to know views of people from different countries as what do they think of it.

Well Im traveling in India now, Im a long way away from Mumbai, but I, and every other traveler here in VArinasi, doesnt seem to care too much. Its sad that it happened but personally I'm not going to change plans every time some shooting breaks out somewhere.

Definitely. We are from the UK (although we haven't been there for over 2 years!). We are flying to India in 10 days and are looking forward to experiencing India and the famous friendliness of the Indian people. We are still going to Mumbai also, we aren't going to change our plans at all.

Yes, I am still going to India. I leave Canada on December 26. I start in Delhi, travel extensively through Rajasthan, go on to Varanasi. I arrive in Mumbai on January 16 for a couple of days and then spend a week in Kerala -- returning to Canada on January 23. The only thing we've had to change is our hotel in Mumbai because we were staying at The Taj. I am glad to hear there are others who are not changing their plans as well. Safe travels everyone.

Yes we are still going to India - we fly into New Delhi for 5 weeks of travel in the northern part of India and Nepal. The worst thing that people can do is not travel because they are scared - then who ever is responsible has won.

Had a 3-4 week trip planned for Feb 21 - March? doing Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan but dropped it after Mumbai attack.
Our daughter would be 6-7? months pregnant with twins at that time and wouldn't think of worrying her by going.
Itinerary virtually completed so will do it in 2010.

I am glad that almost all still think India a place worth visit and are not willing to change their plans.

Well, I can understand the apprehension of some people because I too have about some places in my own country.
