I'll try this one last time, because Id like to keep going with this website blog. the bulk uploader still doesnt work for me and trying to upload single pictures in internet cafes takes so long that by the time I have a few pictures loaded I dont want to bother writing anything anymore. Im traveling with a laptop, but i dont think this one has ever been able to do a bulk upload. From the upload page, Im not able to click the browse button. Uploading on Facebook works fine. Im sure theres some program I dont have or something, but its frustrating to have other sites that seem to work in more streamline fashion, but not here. Sorry for the whine, but as I say its frustrating enough when your on the road to find internet, and then to find time to do the work, and then not be able to do anything.

The bulk upload uses Flash. Try updating the Flash Player on your browser to the latest version and see if it fixes the problem. If you use both Internet Explorer and Firefox, you need to update on both browsers because Flash have separate versions for both browsers.

Unfortunately the very latest version of Flash is not compatible with the uploader. What version are you using? It is indeed most likely a Flash incompatibility causing the problems.

There is some good news ahead - we are in the process of integrating a new bulk uploader (based on the same one that Facebook and many other sites use in fact). The major benefit is that it is able to resize the photos for you before uploading, which is what takes so much time.

Another fast way to get photos onto your blog is by using the email to blog option, which I would highly recommend. Then it's just exactly the same as sending an email with your photos to a friend. Except it will end up published on your blog instead.

One of the great things about the emailing option and travelling with a laptop is you can compose the emails while you aren't in an internet cafe and then just hit send when you do get to one!

Any idea when the new uploader will roll out?

Any idea when the new uploader will roll out?

I'm not promising anything, but I'd say within the next few weeks.

Any update on this?

Unfortunately not. It's obviously becoming an urgent problem, but holidays are kind of getting in the way of getting it fixed right now.

Awesome news on the uploader, that will make life so much easier here on the road. I guess I need to get back to actully writing something!

One thing I noticed. When I wrote "Nepal" in the location field, it came back that no location was known of that name and did I mean "Nepal"!!! When I try to click on the Nepal tab, it wont except it.
