Travellerspoint has been shortlisted twice for the Travel Rants Consumer Awards and seeing as voting is open for everyone and there's a lot of sites pushing votes to their own site, I figured we shouldn't do anything different

Travellerspoint is listed twice, once under Best travel planning site (up against Trip Advisor amongst others) and once under Best online travel tool. In the case of the latter, it's actually specifically our wiki travel guide that's been shortlisted, something I'd like to thank all of you for! There's some fantastic content in there already and it's only getting better!!!

So, if you believe that Travellerspoint deserves the votes (and let's be fair and honest, we do! ), then please consider voting for us on Travel Rants!

Sam
ps. if you enjoy reading rants about how the travel industry is not doing enough to empower consumers, then you might want to consider subscribing to the travel rants blog too.

As our best friend always says...

It's a poor frog who doesn't praise his own pond.

Oh, and I did my civic duty by voting. Yes, for TP, of course. ;)

Well, still some votes to go to take over first spot, but at least we are beating out half the competition! :) Thank you, thank you, thank you for the votes!

Why isn't TP under best travel forum??!!

To be honest, I have no idea, but I guess that's just how Darren classed us. Personally I think I would have leaned towards Travellerspoint being under best travel forum and under best for travel content (seeing as that's where wikitravel is). But hey, you don't just say 'no thank you, I want that' when someone nominates you either

That's the attitude!

Thanks for your votes all. Very close race in trip planning sites for spots 2,3 and 4. In the travel tools area we're clearly in the number 2 spot. Both those number 1 sites are looking pretty strong though. Expedia and their billions buying their way to the top again (they own both tripadvisor and seatguru)
