12 weeks Southeast asia

Hi all, I'm stuck and need some advise...I have 12 weeks to travel Southeast asia the problem or should I say the question is where to go...Im planning on India, Loas, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Malysia...but not sure if 12 weeks will be to short...any input will be welcomed!!!!

well, first off, check out a map and you'll see that India is not in Southeast Asia, and is another trip altogether. For the India part, it's hard to say how long you need - you could spend a couple weeks checking out a small region, or you could easy spend half a year traveling a larger area of the country.
For Southeast Asia, 12 weeks is a good amount of time to see the countries you listed. The standard loop of Bangkok - Cambodia - HCMC - Hanoi - Laos - ChiangMai - Bangkok - Malaysia can be done in 12 weeks, but not much quicker if you want to enjoy it.

I think what you have down is pretty good for the time you have, although it would be more efficient for you to replace India with Thailand, and it would make a bit more sense as it shares borders Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia

You'd only have the time to get a small taste of the huge, diverse country that is India, and you'd have to fly there and get your visa beforehand (isn't a huge problem since they are valid for 6 months). There's also the recent trouble in Mumbai (like there is Thailand) so keep updated with the news before you go.
On a positive note India is a different experience from the other countries you are seeing and might be a refreshing (or intense ) change. If you end up doing this do some research on Delhi, Rajasthan (Jaipur, Udaipur, Pushkar), Mumbai, Goa, Kerala as these are the most commonly visited and enjoyed areas to narrow it down for the time you have.
