Worldnomads (our insurance partner) is running a competition to win a Travel Writing Scholarship. The prize includes a 10 day tour on assignment in Kerala, India. Then, you touch base with travel writer David Stott and hit the road for 10 days working on the Footprint India Handbook.

We don't normally promote things like this, but I figured a prize like that would be of interest to some of the budding writers here in Travellerspoint! :)

To enter you need to write a sub-500 word travel piece on one of the following themes: 'A Journey that Changed Lives', 'Responsible Travel' or 'Adventure in an Unknown Culture' .

Check out World Nomads' site for more.

Good luck!

Hey all, just wanted to point out that the winner of this competition is now decided. You can see the winning entry + some of the runners up on this page. Even if you aren't the lucky one, there's some good writing there and maybe worth reading to know what it takes to win something like this. The winning entry by Jessica Lee certainly deserved it!

Do they really have to make the font larger than Tianamen square?

Who would read it?

Huh, the size is only about 1px bigger than the TP size? Did you zoom in somehow?

Nope, I have the same thing. Only the left first part is ok, the rest is made for a rhino
