Hey everyone, Im bringing a my missus away for a few days in April as part of her Xmas pressie and can't choose between these places Prague, Amsterdam or Madrid (yes I AM a cheapskate if you're asking, these are the cheapest destination - bleedin' recession!) Has anyone any opinions?? Need advice asap as I want to book flights before the weekend.
Hey there Ian,
I can only speak for Amsterdam and Prague - but between the two, I would definitely have to say Prague. It's a gorgeous city that I would love to go back to. Amsterdam has a lot to offer too though. Depends on what you're after though. From memory, Prague was a lot cheaper too if that helps.
Cheers and good luck,
I have only been to Amsterdam and Prague too but I would choose Prague out of those two. It's beautiful and there is loads to do. I really liked Amsterdam though too so as the previous post says, it depends what kind of things you like doing. Prague is cheap as long as you stay away from the main tourist drag in and around Wenceslas Square where the prices are hiked up for the tourists. I didn't find the quality of restuarants very good around that area either.
