chilligirl has indicated that this thread is about Thailand

I'm hoping to go to thailand at the end of january well around the 21st and I have a double entry visa so i can stay 6 months with a visa run in the middle

There is a type of volunteering you can do in thailand wwoofing which is just helping out on farms and you get basic accomodation and board free

I thought I would spend some time doing this around 7 weeks in hopefully too different places kind of a detox sort of thing

then a bit of travelling around for a few months

anyone have similar plans or would like to join mine, i am also looking into doing this in other places mainly the one that i can stay away from the uk for the longest time :)

I heard a kind of volunteer for elephant, and it sounds interesting.

I don't remember the names of that places but I know there are many places we can help elephants. So I search this place from google and I got this http://www.elephantnaturepark.org/volunteer/index.htm

Wish we find that place that you want ;)

Hi Thank You for the reply. I would love to do the elephant volunteering but this one is too expensive for me i only have 20,000 baht to live on per month and that one costs 12,000 for one week.

Thanks :)

If you were planning on getting 30 days on a visa run via overland you better re-think that! For overland visa runs you only get 15 days at an immigration office. That is if this applies to you. (If you fly into Thailand it is still 30 days though!)

Some volunteer links, others available under Google search.

Good luck.

hi no i will have a visa before i leave uk. get 90 day stamp and the airport and then will be going to cambodia for a week and will get 90 days on return to thailand.

if you have already got a visa before you go to thailand the rules are unchanged as far as i've been told.

the 15 day rule applies to visa on arrival people doesnt it?
