When my first cat died, I couldn't get over it. After a while it became really quite in my house and I decided to buy another one. When I bought one, I couldn't think of a good name, but I really want something special with a real meaning behind it.

My friend has been a volunteer in Venezuela a few years ago so I asked her for advice. I thought that she might have some ideas for a 'nombre de gato' in Spanish or something. I'm thinking about it now for like more than a month and I really need more ideas. My cat is already walking around in my house for 2 weeks without a name!

Has anyone have some ideas?

Call it 'Travellerspoint' or 'TP' :)

Is your cat male or female?

Aliyana = beautiful girl (F)
Corazon = heart (F)
Evarado = brave (M)
Isadoro = strong gift (M)

Though, I do like Sam's suggestion... To a point... Walking around the house calling out "TP - where are you?" sounds like you can't quite find the bathroom and/or the toilet paper. Sorry Sam! ;)

Did you know the most popular name for a cat is Kitty? Yep. According to a survey...I looked it up on the 'net...Kitty is number one.

As long as you don't call the cat late for dinner, I would think the cat would be happy....Hey, that's an idea..Why not call the cat Happy. Of course, maybe Garfield might suit the cat.....Or, you can simply call the cat Hey You......

TP could too easily be construed as Toilet Paper.

This is what I found with cats, and cat owners. They give their cat some well thought out name...It's like the Official Name

And then they call the cat something they like. "Hey Meatball, c'mere" "How's my little muffin, today?"

So what's the diff?

We got a cat when I was little and my father wanted to call it Kill.... So it would be Kill, the cat.
