hi guys ive had 2 put my trip back till after xmas

looking at going beginning of feb for 6 months, starting in sydney then ganna work my way up to surfers paradise

can anyone advise what the wheathers like from feb-august please? many thanks

Umm short and simple answer... Starting in Summer... so it'll be hot (30-40 Celsius) and August winter here in Australia so it'll cool down but if your working in Surfers then it wont be cold as such just cooler (10-20 Celsius).

I'm leaving in January and staring off in sydney as well! good luck on your journey!

It's not going to be 30 or 40 in Sydney. More like mid to late 20s in Summer.

In the august part its going to be bloody smoking outside but remember its a desert so its also going to get colder than a couple of coldies in the freezer.

Feb = 20-30 deg
This is the tail end of summer here. So could be sunny and hot during the day to thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Mar-May (autumn/fall) = 10 - 25 deg. Expect rain for a few days straight. To cold mornings to hot day.
June - August (winter) = 5 - 20 deg. Unpredicable.... cold wind chills, to snow in the mountains, rain rain rain.

But all of this will change slightly as you head north.
