Hey, Toronto is not as dull as most folks from outside the city seem to think it is. I know it's not exactly Rome or Montreal, but it's not that bad. You just need a local to show you around. Of course, locals will take you to places and then say, "You know, I haven't been to Little Italy in, like, 7 years. I don't know why I don't come out here more." By the end of the night, with vomit on their shoes, reeking of smoke and blurry eyes, of course, they will remember why it is that they don't go to Little Italy very often.

Personally, I like to think that I, alone, am responsible for the increase in the trips to London, given that in 2007 I spent 5 days there, and in 2008 I spent 147 days.

Personally, I like to think that I, alone, am responsible for the increase in the trips to London, given that in 2007 I spent 5 days there, and in 2008 I spent 147 days.

I can guarantee you then that you weren't responsible - the stats are for "unique" visits, so if you visit it 10 times in one year, it's the same as visiting it once. Because you visited in both years, you personally will be responsible for a 0% change.

Those figures present whatever their underlying assumptions are, but it is a good start though!

As far as I could remember NZ has 3 international airports; Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The places which have great tourist attraction for me personally is down in the South Island. A 5 days trip would be sufficient to cover the whole island coast to coast. And the best place is Queenstown. No wonder it gets 50% increase!

Because meaningless stats are way too much fun, both Peter and me spent some more time playing with this page. You all might want to head over to the trends page and see...
