How busy is Koh Phi Phi at the minute?

I'm in Koh Pha Ngan at the moment and it's fairly quiet at the moment compared to this time last year. Anyway, I'm thinking of heading over to Koh Phi Phi at the end of January so if anyone's over there at the minute I was just wondering how busy it is there.

Usually very busy this time of year. My mate has just come back and said it was packed on Phi Phi. So, be prepared, accommodation may be a bit pricey!!

Cheers for the advice. I'm heading over just after the Full Moon and there usually tends to be a lull in Koh Phi Phi during Full Moon (as lots of people tend to head over here to Koh Pha Ngan), so hopefully I'll get there before it gets excessively busy again.

I went there last year and stayed in The Rock Backpackers which was cool, but do you know any other cheap options, just in case The Rock is full?

I dont think this is the peak season for ko phi phi side of town. the peak season that side is around Agust to october.
This is the time that many tourist flock to phuket side of town.
