I suggest Krakow. It's a lovely City and in March it wouldn't be touristy. It's fairly cheap and only takes a couple of hours to get there. As well as the city you can also visit Auschwitz which is about 1.5 hours away on the bus.

You're right. Krakow is the most impressive place in Poland - in my opinion. When you are in Krakow you should also visit Wieliczka Salt Mine and Auschwitz-Birkenau nad maybe - for example Ojcow.

I'm really admired by this city: it's very cosy, not too many tourists, quite peaceful with beautiful nature.

And here I was about to recommend Prague, Cologne, or Vienna when I realized this thread has been going on longer than my last relationship
