Travelling in South Africa - advice

I am South African.

South Africa is as safe as any other country.

One just needs to take the usual precautions of keeping to well used routes. It is advisable for people to travel in the company of others and stay in areas approved of by the Tourism Associations of this country.

South Africa has incredible natural beauty, wonderful warm and helpful people and great entertainment.

The cost of living has risen over the past year. A loaf of bread will cost you from R6.00 to R9.00. A litre of milk costs about R7.00. A Wimpy chicken burger with chips can set you back about R 35.00.

Hello. I just returned from 2 weeks in South Africa and I posted both photos and a blog about my trip.

I believe that if you apply safety tips and common sense as you would in any foreign country or in any situation, even at home, I think you would be fine.
