I'm travelling in China... I want to fix a potential tooth problem soon.

I am just wondering... How significant is the difference in the rate of dental service in a city like Shanghai compared to less commercial cities? I mean if a FOOT MASSAGE is 50 in Shanghai, 25 in Guilin and 20 in Zhuhai, 50 in Macau.

Can you tell me how much a root canal would cost in Shanghai??? I am just traveling and I want to make to Korea and Japan. So if my tooth starts to hurt while I am in Osaka, I will die of poverty. I need to fix it while I am still in China.

Is Hangzhou significantly cheaper for dental services. Besides, even if I am just in Guandong, they would still try to rip me off, unless I am with a local friend. I know its 8,000 baht in Bangkok.

I know it will depend on the clinic. But I just want a real dentist, it doesn't have to be in the commercial centers. My Chinese friends don't really go to dental clinics, so they have no idea.
