Snake River in Jackson Hole is a great place to go rafting |

Yes, this is by far the best place. You actually take the rafting trip on the section of the river just a few miles south of town. There are lots of tours available as this is a very popular destination. P.S. Some people choose to combine this with a trip to a "dude" ranch or with a trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks, both of which are located just north of Jackson Hole. |

I agree with the others, the best rafting in Wyoming is located just south of Grand Teton National Park. You may opt to take a smooth water float trip with a shore steak dinner, actually just inside the Park from the Jackson Lake Lodge or a white water trip just south of the town of Jackson Hole, WY There's some great tour operators that you may access by googling "rafting Jackson Wyoming" I have done both type trips and they are both great. On the float trip you have an opportunity of seeing some great wild life - moose, deer, elk, bald eagles, on the white water trip - - you will get wet!
