I am going to suggest, drum roll please.... Las Vegas!! The chance of hook ups is pretty good in our nightclubs, add spectacular hotels, heaps of entertainment options, great restaurants and also cheap buffets if you prefer quanity over quality. We have Lake Mead for water activites, Hoover Dam, our mountains are 45 minutes away if you want to hike in the pine trees and get away from the heat. Vegas is also the gateway to the Grand Canyon, close to Zion, Bryce, Arches Nat. Parks in Utah as well. What more could a bunch of young guys want?

Yes, 27-30--I must agree--Las Vegas. Other possibilities (in my preferred order) would be New York City, Miami, San Diego, Seattle, Austin, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Memphis.

If you are looking for a winter ski vacation, consider Mammoth Mountain (mid-eastern portion of California), Lake Tahoe (Nevada/California border near the northern part of the state--not far from Reno, Nevada), Vail (Colorado), Steamboat Springs (Colorado) Mount Bachelor (Oregon), Taos (New Mexico), or Stowe (Vermont).

Enjoy

Those were my choices in the mainland US.

Other great choices would be (in order):

Cancun, Mexico
Nice/St. Tropez, France
Rome, Italy
London, England, UK
St. Maarten
Virgin Islands
Honolulu, Hawaii (US)
Rio de Janeiro, Brasil (Brazil)
Talinn, Estonia
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Oslo, Norway

There may also be great ones in Japan and Australia, but I haven't been to those countries.

For some great party, good food, great people and great hookups there is only one place to go: Isla Mujeres outside of Cancun :P

Are you European, Swiss? Well, I suppose someone from that part of the world would call the USA adventurous, but I would not. Las Vegas might be good for 2 days, but after that, I'd call it tacky. Unless you know the right places, you will probably find the food on the tourist trail to be awful. The USA is an expensive destination with poor tourist facilities. If you're Swiss, you're used to efficient tourist facilities and good quality trains and the like. American buses and trains are pretty dirty, are normally never on time, and you will be shocked by the lack of facilities in train/bus stations. If you can afford to rent a car, this would be the way to go. Summer is a bad time to see the sites in this country. I urge you to go in the Spring or Fall. I like less crowded destinations, and in Summer, I like places like British Columbia in Canada, Cape Cod in Massachusetts, the Oregon Coast (good camping), and the Colorado mountains.
