Hi all, i was given 28 days to leave oz in april...i however am still in australia as so wasnt ready to leave. the reason i was given 28 days was i was refused my 2nd year working holiday visa as they checked my 3 months harvest work and found i hadnt actually done it.
Anyway im now wanting to leave and go work in new zealand...will this be actually possible?

You can apply for a New Zealand WHV and should be accepted for that without any problem. New Zealand immigration shouldn't care what you've done in Australia.
You'll face problems with Australian immigration at the airport when you leave the country though, as you've been in the country illegally for 8 months or so now. Given that you'll be leaving, I don't think they'll detain you (not certain: seek legal council or call the Australian department of immigration), but you can forget about being allowed back in the country for the foreseeable future (at least for the next five years, I think).

Definately gonna get grief when you depart Australia.
Immigration are going to grill you, and refuse your entry for 3-5yrs automatically.
You shouldn't have a problem getting to NZ, although not sure on your country of origin (as all different)...

Also you won't be detained. You have overstayed a visa, they simply want you out of the country for the breach.
