Work in Banff or Whistler

Hello me and my Friend are trying to find work in the mountains somewhere doesnt really matter where or what. We are 20 and 19 years old, we are from Newfoundland,Canada. I dont really know where to start looking so if anyone could help us out it would be appreciated

They own a lot of resorts out West and they should have a careers section. You might want to just head out there. You probably won't find much for the winter. They would have already hired. I know it is really competitive in the Fall for the Winter season. If you want to spend a year out there you might have better luck heading out in the Spring and try to get a job for the summer...which will give you a spot for the winter season. In the Spring you can camp or sleep in your car if you need to while you land a job.

hey, im currently working in whistler... this season is very quiet and a lot of people are having there hours cut or being paid off! if your planning on coming out next year id come out early sept time... its the olympics and everyones a bit worried about rent being crazily high as obv landlords want to make money out of the olympics.

anyway we have a local newspaper called Pique - which lists all the local jobs in the village and all the accomodation available (long term and short term). they have a website you could check out - thats how i found my appartment. there wont be much on it now as its the middle of the season but its def a good resource to get you started or to check out before you come over!
