Im going travelling to oz in the next few months,
i've been accepted for a WHV and a migrants visa, i do plan to travel for a few months and seeing how things go i plan to possibly move out there.
Can you travel on a migrants visa or could this be a problem?
just save me getting two visa's and all the messing about and the two months fruit picking if i want to travel for more than a year.
I don't think it's possible to be present on two visas. One cancels out the other, and between these two, I'm not certain which that would be (might even depend on which was granted last). Unless someone here happens to have personal experience, I'd recommend contacting the Australian Department of Immigration directly to have this cleared up for you.
no i have applied for two at different times and have been accepted, i will only present one visa so this is what im trying to clear up so i arrive and pay for one visa
The Working Holiday Visa at least is not something you "present". It's linked to your passport number and takes effect the when you first enter Australia (assuming this is within a year from the date that it's been granted). You do not have the option of not using it, and it cancels (for example) an earlier ETA or eVisitor. (Erm, and you pay a processing fee for it before you're granted one... so I'm not certain what you mean with "pay for one visa"?)
I'm not very familiar with the way the migrant visa works, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's basically the same.
