Hi,

I'm planning to go travelling around the world in January and was wondering if i would need to take a sleeping bag. I've heard some hostels don't allow them!

Cheers

Hi Andy,
It might be that hostels insist you use their own cotton liners, which they know they have washed!
But I slept in t-shirt and boxers, above the covers, while I was in Oz in October/November, so I'm not sure it will be an issue !

umm I never used one, even though I took one with me, usually just my sleeping bag liner I used, I always take mine, why, just habit, plus mine is light 450grammes all season, it is small, so I dont mind...may be good as an extra blanket, if your going though europe in winter, I think I may have used it then.
good luck on your decision
