Singapore to ? (any ideas)

I leave for Singapore on the 25th of january, can't wait. From there i thought i would travel to maylasia and on to thailand. But im open to suggestions on where to go places to see and so. Hopefully I will be away for around 6 months and hope to get up to china and japan any suggestions?

You need to do some planning. Possibly pick up Lonely Planet travel guides. Certainly ask a lot of relevant questions here when you decide exactly what you want. Depending on what you like, you might see the Cameroon highlands, Kuala Lumpur, Penang. Some beaches in Thailand, Bangkok, Chiang Mai. Remember you will need a visa for China. AirAsia does some cheap flights around Asia, like Thailand to Hong Kong. Some cheap tickets from there to Japan (which is not a cheap country).

I was thinking of travelling mostly overground, going to kuala lumpur then on to penang from there i dont have a clue i want mostly beaches but im up for anything adventurous and a bit of a party.
