Brisbane in may???

Hi all,
me and a mate r travelling to brisbane late april/ early may!!!! hopefully guna last a year on the east coast gradually travelling down towards Sydney...anyone else doing the same?? Ash

No, but I have done the same road in 2007 and can recommend some few places:

1. Tweeds heads
2. Ballina (one of our best stops)
3. Coffs harbour
4. SKIP Port Macquarie as far as sightseeing goes - although there is a nearby farm where you can get work.
5. Forster - here you can snorkel with the tide in and out (river) - there is a nearby national park with a deserted beach (beatiful!) and the YHA hostel here is great!
6. Nelson bay - quite extraordinary sights here!
7. SKIP Newcastle

south of Sydney:

1. Wollongong - nice town (well what can I say )
2. Batemans Bay and Jervis Bay - absolutely beatiful!

just small tips - there are lots more I could say about these places but am trying to keep the story short
