Hi everyone
I'm planning on going to Croatia in July for approximately two weeks, and I need a little help with the planning!
We fly into Trieste, Italy first, then plan on making our way down to Zadar by bus, train or ferry, hopefully within two days. Can anyone advise of the best way to do this?
I've checked the train timetables and there dont seem to be any direct trains to Zadar from Rijeka.
I know there's a ferry from Pula - how much is this and how long does it take?
Or maybe a bus from Rijeka, again, how long and at what cost?
I want to try and take in as much of the scenery as I can and see some cool places on the way.
Our flight arrives in Trieste on 3rd July - is it worth heading straight to either Rijeka or Pula? Which would be better to spend a day/night in?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated ![]()
