Hi everyone, I am travelling for a world the world trip next jan (2010) for one year. Im travelling to asia for 6 weeks(bangkok, singapore, vietnam etc) then onto australia for 6 months then to new zeland, fuiji, america etc.

My question is what are the best months to visit asia and australia in terms of weather, more importantly I want to be in australia durning the summer to enhance my chances of finding work.

Thanks for any info

Very roughly:
Nov-Feb is the best for Southeast Asia, that is a bit less humid and sticky and usually dry weather.
Summer in Oz is Nov-March, so you will be fine.
One comment though, the north of Australia has a rainy season during that same period, so you will find things a bit more cloudy and wet around Cairns or Darwin for example.

summer is good in southern australia but the winter is perfect in the north...not too hot and humid plus you don't have to worry about stingers in the ocean.
