In a couple of months, I'm going for the "Big Train Trip": the Trans Mongolia Express.
I'm trying to find out how people react on being Photographed (they are less used to it than people in Europe I assume...)
Also, I'd like to know if there are possibilities to upload your images in internet cafés down the road (if there are any).
Other tips for digital photography in Russia/Mongolia/China are greatly appreciated!
Can't help you with the places you are visiting but i think it just depend on the person.
I was in India in Januari and some people love their picture taken and some people hate it.
What helps do is to show the pictures on you lcd dispaly
