I didn't actually notice the 3 week part when I replied before. You are definitely trying to do too much - I took 3 months to do a route similar to yours. Try and cut out some places out and you will have a more enjoyable time.

I plan on doing a lot less than you and I have six weeks, which still isn't a lot of time really. Probably just enough time to do the east coast. How about you just look to do Sydney and the blue mountains, Whitsundays, Cairns and a few of the beaches in between. Im hoping to do a lot of my adventure stuff(skydiving, bungee) in Cairns.

Hello your already over here by now but i wanted to add some infor for people who are still reading old posts.

You can get cheep flights these days. Places like adelaide to melborne i would say drive its about an 8 hour drive but if you take the ocean rd its going to be longer. Flights are fast most places only and hour.

But giving your only here for 3 weeks you may want to look at cutting back on stuff or coming for longer. Trust me i went to the gold coast which is neer surfers and we went for 5 day that was not long. My partner and i said we needed at least 2 weeks to do everything we wanted to do. Our trip was to short and could of done with longer but money was the problem.

My adice would be to make sure you have time up your hands like plan on psneding 3 days or so at each place if its only 3 weeks then cut back on where you are going to go.
