2/3 weeks East Coast

I want to spend between 2 - 3 weeks on the East Coast, with a mix of cities, towns, beach, countryside, tourist areas and hidden gems.

Will be going back to NYC, also want to head to Washington, Boston, Chicago and ???

Where else would you recommend? I'd love recommendations for a beautiful friendly seaside area in New England, and any other tips people could give, then I can hit google and form my route!

Want to get booked asap, hope you guys have some good ideas! x

Maine is also great place to visit

I would head to the Deleware beaches of Dewey, Rehobeth, and Ocean City. Beautiful beaches and fun night life. I would also head up to the Adirondack park in New York state. The park covers some 6.1 million acres (24,700 km²), a land area about the size of Vermont, or of the Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Glacier, and Great Smoky Mountains National Parks combined. It is awesome and you can make Lake Placid your home base up there... Check it out.

Maine was in my head too, where specifically is good?

I am from NJ but I head to the adirondacks at least 10 times a year. If you want any advice on where to stay, hikes to do, camping, or anything like that please let me know and I will be more than happy to help.

I am from Maine...and have actually spent a bit of time traveling throughout New England. As for places to see, I would say the following are my favorite places:

Maine: Bar Harbor (including Acadia National Park), Portland, and Monhegan Island
Massachussetts: Boston and Cape Cod
Rhode Island: Watch Harbor and Newport
Maryland: Annapolis
Washington D.C.
