how far is Fraser Island dorm Whitsunday?

Hi sorry in advance if this question sounds silly...

but can i check if Fraser Island and Whitsunday these two places are very near to each other? If so what kind of transportation option available to me then?

You can use an online map like google maps or whereis, if you do a google search for either of them they'll come up. By car I believe it's about 960km from Rainbow Beach to Airlie Beach which are the towns on the mainland closest to the islands.
