hi there.

woke up with a probably not so bright idea....don't drink and don't have a clue how to make wine, but wondering what options there are for somebody to apprentice themselves onto a wine farm in argentina !!

speak english, average dutch, average german and busy studying spanish....happy to start at the bottom and slowly work my way with the wine farm as a new career.

anybody with ideas or contacts , please feel free to throw them my way.

thanks

Hey,

Dont have any specific contacts for you really, but I would suggest starting in the Mendozan region in the foothills of the Andes. There are hundreds of wineries in the region, and it's one of the nicest areas I visited in Argentina, and would be a lovely place to live and work.

Sorry I can't be of more help. :)

I agree with Mendoza. 90% of the wine I drink is Malbec. You will learn a lot and the people are great.

Hey, it's true about Mendoza -- it has the highest concentration of wineries in Argentina. For business opportunities in the wine industry, I suggest you take a look at this site: http://www.livinginargentina.com/wines-sec408.html. You could also contact them with any questions if you so please. Hope this helps!
