hey

im wanting to travel to nice to see a friend n thought id make a trip out of it, iv had a look through the web but cant make much of it out,dont reli mind how i travel.....boat train or bus.....could any1 suggest the cheapest altho comfertablist way of doing this,

also how much would a rough budget be for the month...inc food drink accom......

You can get a Ryanair flight from the local Prestwick airport to Marseilles then a TGV train to Nice (over 2.5 hours).

Nice is expensive, particularly June to early September. Weather is usually good from April to November. Early or late will be cheaper. You can try and rent an apartment for a month, though you may have to pay a deposit. Supermarkets to buy food and drink is cheap. A filled baguette is cheap. Set menus are reasonable. A restaurant will be expensive. How much it all costs depends on what you want but it will be fairly expensive. Somewhere over a thousand pounds (especially considering the way the euro has been going).

hey thanks for the reply, i was acctuly planning to travel around france n stay in nice for only a few days b4 flying back to glasgow,is camping a gd option,
