Hi, I am currently doing a season in whistler this winter and would really like to do a season in europe next year.
However i only speak english (yes i know - rubbish!!) but im wondering is it a bit unrealistic to think i can find a job and accomodation in these areas if i dont speak the language??
Has anyone done in a season in an place that they could recommend?

Most European winter jobs are filled up the year before, repeats from people who have worked there before. A good knowledge of the local language is normally essential. That is in normal times. The current recession looks like being on next winter too which means your chance of getting a job is about zero. However, you might try applying now for next winter.
my boyfriend's brother and sister have both worked in the french alpes and neither could speak french. val thorens is supposedly good to work at and you don't need more than a couple of months to apply as far as i'm concerned.
