I've been interested in hiking Patagonia (argentina's side?) for a while now! i'm interested in going in a guided tour, as I will be a woman traveling alone. Can anyone recommend a good tour group/company?

Can you be a little bit more specific? Patagonia's an awfully big place...

Generally however, guided treks are few and far between. There is of course Torres del Paine in Chile, but I wouldn't know where to go on the Argentinian side if you want something pre-organised. More to the north there are several option on and around Aconcagua, but that may be a tad too rough to your taste, I wouldn't know.

Another approach would be just to turn up in a central place like Bariloche, and do some asking around. Either you may find a local agency able to arrange what you want, or you're likely to find fellow travellers with similar plans, in which case you can simply hook up with them.
