I could be wrong on this as I'm not exactly 19 (or even close), but I do spend a lot of time in Croatia and my experiences night life are that things are a lot quieter there than Ibiza or any of the other well know party places. Also if you're thinking of long sandy beaches overhung by palm trees you'll be a little disappointed as most of the beaches are either shingle or man-made concrete bathing area.
Having said all of that, I have witnessed some pretty lively 'apres beach' parties on the island of Hvar so I'm guessing a lot of other places have the same. As I said it's not my area of expertise but if you do find any wild places make sure to post them up here on TP.

Hvar is probably the closest you'll get in Croatia but it's still a very long shot from Ibiza. Theres a few bars and a club and that's about it. And there's older tourists not necessarily just young people.

It depends what you want. For the clubs and line-ups Ibiza gets then you're looking at cities like Berlin and London. For the beaches and party crowds, well there's quite a few in the mediteranean.

I've been to Ibiza, and in my few months in Europe the place that felt the most similar was a Greek island called Ios, which has a reputation as a party island, with a lot of young people. Theres maybe 1-2 dozen bars and clubs, a few nice beaches, etc. but still it's kind of a baby version that wouldn't compare to the superclubs of Ibiza, but I had a great time there.

I have heard of a place in Egypt called Sharm el sheikh that is cheaper and still club orientated.
Never heard about Croatia.
Also Greece is a good option.

have a great time x x x

We were in Croatia last summer and it was terrific fun. I don't think it's like Ibiza, though, thankfully!!

Croatia is fantastic with some stunning islands, friendly people, and lots to see!

If you're after somewhere to have a party, you could do worse than Budva in Montenegro. We were there for a few days and it has a very lively nightlife and lots of beautiful people! However, again, it's far more civilised than Ibiza and there aren't that many Brits there, which we found to be wuite a good thing!

Hello,
I don't know if Croatia is becoming the new Ibiza but if you like to party on the beach, the most popular is
Zrče beach near Novalja on the island of Pag.
Other popular destinations are Hvar, Dubrovnik, Makarska, Vodice,...

Check out these websites:

hope I helped :)

Sunny beach in Bulgaria is where you should head!

it has everything a young clubber could want with some excellent clubs and bars along one very large street (poss 10 miles) that runs along the coast, it's very popular with the neighbouring European countries i.e. Germany, Sweden, Norway as it still has it's own currency (the lev worth 48p!) and the exchange rate is favourable for us and them. I've been three times and I've had a blast every single time, hung out with people from all over the world, drinking and dancing till the early hours then watching the sun come up on the beach. Let me know if you need any accommodation recommendations as I have a few!

Croatia - the new Ibiza??.... Not yet!! Hopefully not for a long time.
I go along with the comments about Sunny Beach in BG.
Although it is a very cheesy resort, a bit like Benidorm in a lot of ways, but much cheaper - it's a lot of fun. The nearest airport is Burgas and Wizzair fly there through the summer, from Luton. Don't worry about getting a package deal. Just arrive at the airport and ask the nearest taxi driver to take you to the closest 1* gaff. It'll do you for night one - and you'll have all day to checkout another place if that one was no good.
Expect Sunny Beach prices to be amongst the most expensive in BG though, unless you look around for the smaller bars. Then again, you're on holiday - and it'll still be so much cheaper than England. The night life is good too. A lot of EuroPop (Bulgarians love the stuff!!), but whatever you're looking for, trance, R&B, charty stuff, old skool - it's all there.
I'm off to BG in 4 weeks. Been going there for 7 years - and loved the place so much, I've bought a little house out there.
Have a mad 1.
PS.... Check out the newest beer.... Zagorka Gold - just endlessly lovely.

My farther did some investing in Sunny beach and surrounding areas so we have some property there aswell, i've been going for the last 4 years and i've had a wicked time, but yeah it's pretty cheezy at times but if you enjoy friendly faces and lots of nights out then this place is the best value.

Where you got a house mate?

As far as Zagorka gold - never tried it but Zagorka is pretty heavy on the old hangover!
