...After successfully navigating back out of the Mersey River and avoiding capture by the "Bobby Boats" (aka the police) for stiffing the Harbor Master of the £10,000 (he stole all the rum), the crew of the pirate ship steer a course to their next destination. With any luck there will not be another blizzard as it's taken all week for everyone to finally thaw out. Though the thought of a large bonfire to help warm things up sounded pretty good, it was finally decided that it was really flirting with disaster and probably not a good idea. Captain Isa was not keen on having the ship go up in flames just because her crew wanted to roast marshmallows. Instead, they all opted for sitting in front of the fake fireplace with the fake wood and fake flames and fake crackling fire noises. "Ahoy Captain, I think we're on the right track! I just saw a sign saying Amsterdam-Rhine Canal - Next Exit". "Excellent! Hopefully, we won't run into too many stoplights. You know how much fun our birthday boy has playing with the traffic controls." "Captain, I don't think there are any stoplights on the canal..." "Ha - if Michael's gotten his way there will be at least a dozen or more."
And as the crew keeps their eyes open for traffic lights on the canal, they also dig out the sheet music because they have no idea what this Pussyfoot song is suppose to sound like - screeching cats maybe... Alas, they give it a shot...
They say that one and one make two-oo
But you and me, we know it's three
They say that we won't be happy
I wish they'd get off our tree
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's hoping you have a wonderful day (February 10th) filled with friends, family, your girlfriend waiting on you hand and foot (get it - foot - hahahahahahaha!!!) and allowed to play with the traffic lights 'til your heart's content.
...As the crew continues to try and sing this obscure little ditty in commemoration of Michael's day of birth, Captain Isa wanders down into the ship's hold to see if the Harbor Master had missed a keg or two of rum...
